On May 13, 2024, Ziryan Rojhelati, Director of Rudaw Research Center, met with Liu Jun, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in the Kurdistan Region.

During the meeting, they discussed China-Kurdistan relations, China's policy in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, and recent political developments in the area. Consul General Liu Jun expressed his willingness to collaborate and engage in the activities of Rudaw Research Center.
