On April 27, 2025, UNICEF held a seminar at the Rudaw Research Center for a group of Rudaw Media Network employees regarding how to report on and interview children.

At the beginning of the seminar, the organization provided a brief overview of UNICEF's origins and history in the world and in Iraq, then highlighted the organization's goals and activities. Throughout the seminar, UNICEF emphasized the importance of children's rights and the necessary measures and requirements that reporters and media professionals should observe when dealing with or interviewing children.

During the seminar, the organization presented important data about the situation of children in Iraq. For example, regarding violations of children's rights, they reported that in 2018, 28 percent of girls under the age of eighteen were married and unable to complete their education.

At the conclusion of the seminar, emphasis was placed on greater coordination and collaboration between Rudaw Media Network and UNICEF with the aim of improving children's lives and raising more awareness about children's rights.
