Rudaw launches research center

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – The Rudaw Media Network in the Kurdistan Region inaugurated a research center Wednesday, with panel discussions on post-ISIS Kurdistan following the end of the Sykes-Picot agreement of a century ago. 

The center opens its doors after a year of study by a team of researchers.
The Rudaw Research Center is an institute that aims to provide knowledge and academic discussions, through work with qualified and capable researchers.
Its aim is to benefit the present and the future of Kurdistan.
The center will publish its studies mainly in Kurdish,  but also in Arabic, English, Persian and Turkish.
The center plans to form a local and international research network and host  researchers from around the world for discussions on key issues.
The center will host a conference each year on the most important local, regional and international topics.
Wednesday’s inaugural conference is titled “From post ISIS to post Sykes-Picot.”
