On May 22 and 23, 2024, Mahmoud Baban, a research fellow at Rudaw Research Center, speaker at the Second Kurdish Studies Conference, organized by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), the University of Sheffield, Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity (AFSEE), and Bloomsbury Publishing in Sheffield.
Mahmood Baban presented a paper titled “Social Media Engagement and Internet Usage Patterns among Youth in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq,” based on the latest two surveys conducted by Rudaw Research Center.
The conference included contributions from researchers at prominent think tanks such as the Bundeswehr Center for Military History and Social Sciences and the Jethro Institute for Economic Development, as well as university professors and teachers from institutions around the world.
