On Sunday, October 13, 2024, Kim Yong Jae, the Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Iraq, along with several colleagues, visited the Rudaw Research Center in Erbil.

 During the meeting, they discussed key regional issues, including the Gaza conflict, the war in Ukraine, and recent developments in the area. The conversation also touched on foreign investment in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, with a particular focus on the growing interest of South Korean investors in the region.

The session concluded with discussions on strengthening collaboration and enhancing relations between the South Korean Embassy and Rudaw Research Center for future initiatives.
